You’ll need to be curious and proactive. Ask questions. Be interested. Along with being on track to receive a 2.1 Degree classification in one of the following disciplines: • Cyber Security related degree (preferred) OR • Computing related degree (acceptable)What you'll getYou will receive a starting salary of £20,212 during your 12-week internship as well as 6 days' holiday and close mentoring and feedback to ensure you get the most out of your internship. Best of all, if you have delivered excellent performance during your internship you may be offered an opportunity on our Graduate Development Programme at the start of your final year; leaving you free to concentrate on achieving that all important grade. This opportunity is based in Warwick or Solihul Due to the sensitive nature of this role, if your application is successful, you may be required to undergo National Security Vetting in addition to the standard background checks National Grid ESO carry out. If these additional security checks are required, you may need to evidence that you have resided in the UK for at least the last 3 years. National Security Vetting is carried out by a third party provider, HM Revenue & Customs Cluster Security Unit (HMRC CSU), which is part of the UK Government.
