Job Description

This position is part of the Government Kickstarter Scheme. Applications who have not will unfortunately not be able to be progressed.As a Maintenance Trainee, you will provide an efficient support service within the maintenance team to help improve customer and owner experience within our holiday parks. Maintaining the excellent standards we have and improving customer satisfaction - you will be part of the reason guests choose our resorts!You will be expected to embrace and promote the Parkdean Resorts values “Creating Amazing Memories” culture whilst often dealing effectively and efficiently with guests on park. We will value your opinion and contribution to our team in discovering new ways to improve guest feedback scores which will be discussed as part of our regular team meetings.Working within the maintenance team, you will be trained on how to deliver a safe and efficient service to resolve problems across grounds and accommodation in line with the Health & Safety policy. Duties will include (but not limited to) gardening and maintaining external areas, painting and decorating in preparation for the new season and carrying out repair work to accommodation.Both the Maintenance & Accommodation teams are extremely important departments within Parkdean Resorts, you will play an equally important role in assisting the accommodation team in delivering a high-quality accommodation experience and great first impression. This will not only include ensuring accommodation is safe but also the grounds in and around the park are maintained to the excellent standard we require for our customers. Within this department you will learn how to carry out maintenance inventory and repairs in line with the planned maintenance schedule.Your health and safety and that of our guests is of paramount importance and we will therefore ensure that you work safely and carry out all tasks following Parkdean Resorts Health and Safety processes and procedures. You will also receive training on how to check and report any repairs in the holiday home through the correct communication channel.Our nationwide learning and development team will be with you at every step of your journey with Parkdean Resorts.
