Job Description

hape risk management and regulations for clients across the globe whilst studying towards a business management degree.

At EY, no question is too small, too ambitious or too imaginative. We use our curiosity to ask better questions, that inspire better answers. That’s how we build a better working world.

As part of this programme, you’ll study for a Business Leadership and Management Practice Degree at Northumbria University. You’ll also study towards a professional qualification from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). You’ll work on real client projects and with colleagues at every level across multiple functions. You’ll drive your potential forward. And you’ll push your learning to the next level. Here, your career is truly yours to build. Experience our world. Your way.

Based in our Consulting Service Delivery (CSD) Centre at EY in Newcastle, this apprenticeship is fuelled by a community network of learners and professionals. In a project-based environment, we work together to help clients push their processes and drive better strategies. All whilst providing the training experience of a lifetime.

Technology in Business Leadership and Management Practice

Our technological ability enables us to tackle data, operations, cyber and engineering challenges. With us, you’ll advise teams outside of Assurance on which technologies will improve business, and you’ll help clients leverage their technologies in order to develop successful processes. This is your opportunity to drive the future of work.

What will you be doing?

You’ll build a career that’s yours to own. With infinite opportunities to lead, learn and transform, we’ll empower you to use your voice to influence decisions and build a world as unique as you. Here you will:

  • Working on a range of projects for clients, helping them assess, transform and monitor their risks and controls, in relation to areas such as anti-money laundering, suitability of financial advice and cyber security
  • Study one day a week towards your degree from Northumbria University
  • Getting qualifications in areas such as anti-money laundering, cyber security or mortgage advice

Are you eligible to apply?

We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and to have completed three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) by the time the programme starts. Further requirements may be required, please check the website for more guidance.
