Job Description

Would you like an exciting and rewarding job working with children?

If you have a positive, enthusiastic attitude, we provide all the training you need!

Robinwood is an award-winning provider of residential courses for primary schools, with centres in Alston (Cumbria), Todmorden (Yorkshire) and Wrexham (North Wales). Our aim is to make a positive difference developing children.

We are currently looking for fun and outgoing people to work as Group Leaders delivering activities (including climbing, canoeing, zip wire, archery, problem solving, high ropes, leap of faith and caving) to the thousands of children who visit our centres.

We recruit year-round and have various start dates throughout the year. We can help you source local accommodation if needed (our employees come from all over the UK).

Starting salary is £10 per hour (£17,160 per annum for 33 hours per week), rising with time served and responsibility. Robinwood only promotes from within so there is good opportunity for progression within the company.

We are proud to have been in the Sunday Times ‘Top 100 Companies to Work For’ for the last 6 years!

Reasons to work for Robinwood:
• The majority of school holidays off
• Permanent contracts with a 5-day working week
• Opportunity to gain a variety of qualifications
• Annual company profit bonus (after the first year)
• A great, friendly, like-minded staff team
• A rewarding lifestyle job

We welcome applications from positive, enthusiastic people who have some experience (paid or voluntary) working with children and an interest in the activities we offer. Qualifications are not necessary as we provide all training. If you have an ability to relate to 7-11 year-olds and tell a good story, you could be the person for us!
