Job Description

Are you a recent graduate that has a passion for working with Excel?

This involves a commercial outlook with the ability to quickly identify areas of interest/concern from large data sets, working autonomously to formulate decisions prior to cascading to a wider audience.

A key focus will be on delivering a RevPAR growth with an aim to over deliver planned revenue targets and gain competitive advantage whilst supporting the Head of Pricing Strategy with project work.

This is an excellent opportunity to move into Revenue Management and Pricing. With the experience you gain, we would expect you to be able to move into a Revenue management or pricing role within 6-12 months. What youll be doing

    Maintain Travelodges pricing structure and policy across all systems.

    Develop and manage a suite of reports to enable the Revenue Team to make faster commercial decisions.

    On-going measurement, and monitoring to ensure IDeaS is being optimised.

    Review data to identify business trends and identify opportunities.

    Measure the impact of major price changes within each market and provide analysis for the Director of Revenue and Area Revenue Managers.

    Provide weekly analysis and reporting.

    Production of the revenue performance monthly balanced scorecard

    Provide ad hoc reporting as required.

    Support the Head of Pricing Strategy with project work.

    Responsible for promotional rates and allocations, e.g. Friends & Family.

    Support team to cover holiday, sickness and project work as required.

A bit more about you

In addition you'll be able to demonstrate:

    Intermediate level in Excel and able to work with large data sets.

    Good commercial awareness

    Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills

    Excellent communication skills

    Flexible and able to embrace change to meet the varying needs of the business

    Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, personable and energetic

    Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
