Are you a recent graduate that has a passion for working with large data sets to maximise our top line revenue?
Being part of our Revenue team means youll support the Revenue Team to maximise the top line revenue, exceed targets and deliver effective pricing strategies.Youll also manage the room inventory at the hotels especially within group and wholesale segments. You will be the primary point of contact for the Area Revenue Managers for performing ad hoc analysis to maximise revenue performance. It will also be primarily office based with an opportunity to work remotely for two days a week.Where this role can take youThis is an excellent opportunity to move into Revenue Management. With the experience you gain, we would expect you to be able to move into a Revenue management role within 6-12 months. What youll be doing
Provide quotations for group booking requests within agreed timescales ensuring that the revenue opportunities are maximised, whilst maintaining a high level of conversion.
Support the Revenue Managers with ensuring that all hotels have optimal inventory available to meet demand. Liaise across departments to highlight any concerns and opportunities.
Support the Revenue Managers with tactical rate decisions within the Revenue Management System (IDeaS)
Support the Revenue Managers with maintenance of the Revenue Management System.
Perform ad hoc analysis for the Revenue Team to assist with commercial decision making.
Manage the employee discounted room allocations
Control the room allocation and availability to Travel Trade clients.
Plan and support of contract re-negotiations with Travel Trade clients.
Assist with any other reasonable request to support the Revenue Management of the Travelodge business.
Intermediate level in Excel and able to work with large data sets.
Good commercial awareness
Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills
Excellent communication skills
Flexible and able to embrace change to meet the varying needs of the business
Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, personable and energetic
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
