As a Warehouse Operative, you would deal with goods and products that come into our warehouse, working for a large bus and coach distributor of parts across the UK and overseas.Apprenticeship summaryWeekly wage: week: Two shift patterns: to 4pm (Monday to Friday) or 2pm to 10pm (Monday to Friday).Total hours per week: duration: 15 monthsPossible start date: 12 Jul 2021Apprenticeship level: Intermediate Level 2 (GCSE)An excellent opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to work within a busy warehouse environment at Carlyle Bus & Coach Ltd.The apprentice will play an important team role in the day to day planning, organisation and smooth running of the warehouse to ensure all daily tasks and business objectives are met.Duties to include: Accurate assembly of customer ordersLoading goods onto cages and/or packing goods into crates in a safe, stable and manageable mannerAccurate input of weighted itemsUsing IT systems and tracking of ordersResolving customer issuesAccurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting despatchInspection of goods in storage Requirements and prospectsDesired skills Attention to detailAccuracyAdherence to safe working procedures Personal qualitiesCandidates must be hardworking, reliable and willing to complete any tasks associated with their job role.Desired qualificationsMust hold GCSE or equivalent 8/A to 3/D in maths and English.Future prospectsWill carry our internal training including forklift training.Things to considerMust be prepared for manual and physical tasks.About the employerOur Head office is based in the West Midlands with five additional branches strategically spread across the UK and Ireland.
