Job Description

The Company:

We're the ultimate destination for pre-loved designer handbags and vintage jewellery from around the globe. We specialise in supplying and customising vintage and unusual pre-owned luxury items which we distribute to retailers. Over the years we have grown rapidly from an online store into an ecommerce company and independent brand present in 100 stores worldwide.
This is a 4 month e-Commerce internship, paying National Minimum Wage, designed to convert into a permanent position.
Based in Chelsea, West London - this will be an office based role.
We're looking for people with a keen interest in the fashion industry, that have strong excel abilities (you'll need to know your way around pivot tables)

The Role:

As an E commerce Team Intern, you'll be helping Account Managers with designated e commerce tasks in luxury fashion segment to ensure positive development of relationships, timely merchandise uploads and successful performance .

Your main responsibilities as Wholesale Team Trainee/ Intern:

  • Assist account managers in placing the orders, insert the orders in the system, send confirmations
  • Stay in direct contact with buyers to inform regarding the availability or ordered merchandise, create proforma invoices, customs papers, shipping documents, organize shipments from the warehouse.
  • Build relationships with international buyers to make sure collections are properly represented, request and analyse sell throughs, promptly offer reorders.
  • Monitor online store to make sure the collection is well represented (photography, styling, recommended prices)
  • Research and monitor the markets to discover new retailers and potential partners, evaluate current stockists and competitors
  • Monitor incoming payments from designated stores, create shipping overviews and account statements.
  • Join forces with production team to work on recommended retail prices for new collections.

The ideal candidates' skills and experience:

  • English language - native level speaking and writing
  • Good mathematics and excel skills
  • Communications skills - you know how to carry on professional correspondence via email and phone.
  • Problem solving "can do" attitude
  • Desire to develop a longterm career in wholesale
  • High organisational skills, ability to schedule and manage your own workflow
  • Photoshop skills
