Job Description

This established Training Consultancy based in a Market Town in North Yorkshire within easy reach of the A1 is hiring a graduate to support the Operations of the business. Working alongside the Operations Manager and the Managing Director, you will get involved with key projects to support the HR, Operations and Quality functions in the business as well as contributing towards Marketing content. Having come out of the pandemic stronger than they went in, this friendly business delivers training under contract to a variety of public sector and blue-chip organisations. This internship will allow you to gain an all-round understanding of how a successful smaller business operates. You will gain exposure to all key operations and carve out a substantive role in the team. On a day-to-day basis, you will support managers with administrative tasks and projects. You will also contribute to web management and marketing. For example, updating the website with success stories when new contracts are awarded. You will support the trainers in their work, and coordinate the organisation of training sessions. As a small business, there is limited scope for a full-time HR Officer, nevertheless, you will have the opportunity to learn about essential HR Management in a smaller business. Benefits PAID Internship Additional Information 3-4 Month initial contract with a view to permanent employment. Commutable from Ripon, Northallerton, Richmond, Bedale, Catterick. Essential Skills Applicants will ideally be a graduate in a business or marketing discipline. However, applicants from any degree background will be considered if they can demonstrate the curiosity and commercial awareness to add value in this environment. You must have good IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
