We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant Intern to support BioTechnique, our Contract Manufacturing Development Organization (CDMO). The Administrative Assistant Intern will be onsite at our York, PA facility. RESPONSIBILITIES Attend meetings and take meeting minutes with clear action items. Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms. Enter Purchase Orders into our System of Record. Prepares and monitors invoices as required. Serve as the main point of contact for our office front desk and phone. Organize and schedule meetings and appointments. Coordinate and host internal and external guests. Greet and assist visitors to the office. Provide refreshments as required. Provide general support to staff and visitors. Ship, Print, and Receive materials, equipment, and packages for the York Facility as required. Maintain a contacts lists. Develop and maintain a filing system. Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, and more. Order office supplies and other required items. Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine levels; anticipate needed supplies, placing orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies. Book travel arrangements as required. Reply to email, phone, and face to face inquiries. Receive, sort, and distribute mail. Requirements REQUIREMENTS Pursuit of a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent. Previous experience with administrative functions, such as an Administrative Assistant, secretary, or personal assistant. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work and multi-task. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong Organization and planning skills. Attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
