Job Description

HR ApprenticeFull time, 37 hours per weekSalary in line with Apprenticeship pay structure.The HR Team at the College are looking for a HR Apprentice to join us on the next steps of our journey.  The team is dedicated and committed to the values and ethos of the College.  We work hard in a fast moving environment to make a difference and to ensure that students are getting the best experience with us.  We are a small team, which encompasses HR, Payroll and Staff Development and work closely with all teams across the College to ensure all aspects of the employee experience are excellent.This role provides an excellent level of experience at the outset of your career in HR with exposure to a broad variety of processes, policies and reporting.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about starting their career in Human Resources and is enthusiastic about becoming an apprentice.  You will be keen to learn and comfortable with being part of a busy team whose priorities can change from day to day.Key to the work of the team is Employee Engagement and Well-Being.  We recently achieved World Class engagement levels in the Times Top 100 Not for Profit Organisations survey and are proud of the community we have created at the College.  Our staff are committed to the progression and achievement of our students and we support our staff to do this.  This role will be part of the next steps and will help us to continue to grow our staff community.If you think you have the right skills, qualifications and experience to join us please complete an application form or forward your CV.  If you would like any more information or an informal discussion about the role please contact Joanne Bohan, Head of HR on 01942 76 1565.The College reserves the right to interview for this post should we receive suitable candidates prior to the closing date. The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
