Job Description

You’ll be working with the Capgemini UK Core Services Health and Safety (H&S) Team. The team is responsible for the Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) and compliance with H&S regulations and legislation. You will get to work on challenging and dynamic engagements, growing an extensive network amongst Capgemini’s teams both in Core Services and the wider business.The focus of your roleJoining as an H&S apprentice you will work in a role that spans across all Core Services functions.You will get the opportunity to work on challenging and dynamic engagements, growing an extensive network amongst Capgemini’s teams both in Core Services and the wider business.The role requires a proactive person with a can-do attitude to help drive the initiatives forward and contribute to delivering these successfully into both Core Services and the wider UK business.Your communication skills combined with excellent stakeholder management, acting professionally and attention to detail are paramount as the role is highly visible within the UK. The work environment is across all levels and resilience, discretion and confidentiality are key attributes for this role. - Project Governance - set up H&S governance structure for our client accounts - Actions and Minutes – documenting discussions, processes, actions, and outcomes - Process flows – create process flows for digital mindset initiatives - Reporting – assist in H&S forum monthly reports - Other functions – opportunity to understand what each of the functions remit is and how they support the UK businessWhat we will offer youYou’ll have a full-time permanent role from day one, and a competitive starting annual salary. Study part-time for your apprenticeship through multiverse– whilst being able to put your new skills into practice in your day to day role. At the end of the apprenticeship you will have achieved a level three Safety, Health and Environment Technician Apprentices Qualification. What you'll bring - Ability to demonstrate collaborative spirit, be self-driven, highly organised, confident and have a great work ethic to complete tasks to succeed. - Five GCSEs at grades 4 or above (grade C) - Outstanding communication, IT skills and energy. - Openness to working with peers and team members to shape and evolve business processes. - Innovative, open minded and progressive in thinking. - A passion for change and proactively encouraging new ideas.
