Job Description

Here at Serco were helping the UK Government address the challenges posed by Coronavirus; to actively support them in combating the spread of the disease, were now recruiting for Test Centre Operatives. As an Operative, youll play an important role in the day-to-day running of either a Regional, Local or Mobile Testing site.

Working as part of a close-knit team youll be involved in a variety of on-site tasks including traffic and queue management, managing stock and supplies, administration, security, cleaning, customer registration and assistance, and collecting self-administered tests. In short, youll help keep the site safe, secure, and in good running order.

All PPE, safety equipment, and training will be provided.

What you need to do the role

You dont need to hold any qualifications to do this role, what is more important is that you are a friendly, safety conscious person, with a flexible attitude to work. As youll be dealing with members of the public, it will be helpful to have experience within customer services, along with experience of working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Due to the nature of this role, youll be required to pass a security check prior to starting. For some of the roles particularly those working with Mobile testing Units, youll also require a Full UK driving licence.
