Contract Type: Fixed Term - Months Do you have a passion for Information Technology and willingness to learn new skills? Do you have a desire to deliver the very best customer service? Would you like to develop your technical knowledge within a technical support team? Then this opportunity for you to take part in an apprenticeship programme here at Kent. The apprenticeships we’re offering will start in October on fixed term appointments. During the year period you will develop your skills and will learn to support a range of IT technologies, systems and software solutions whilst completing your Level IT Communications Technician standard. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team, working closely under the direction your line manager. You will support and maintain client, server, infrastructure, and software services. You will respond to IT issues and support requests, providing the very best customer service. You will also provide proactive support through planned upgrades and new systems. As an associate Technician Apprentice you will: • Work under supervision to provide technical support to divisional customers solving simple technical problems • Carry out routine day to day tasks to established guidelines, to achieve team objectives • Apply your knowledge to solve routine problems using initiative To be successful in this role you will: • Standard GCSE's or NVQ Level or equivalent qualification or experience • Willingness to undertake the Apprenticeship and complete the End Point Assessment required • Knowledge of basic safety regulations & procedures Please refer to the attached Job Description for more information about the role and the essential criteria we are looking for.
