The Role
This is a fully remote internship position based based in either the UK or Germany.
We’re looking for a motivated data engineering intern to join our growing business. You will be reporting to the Data Engineering Tech Lead and support and worth with the rest of the Data Engineering team.

Our data infrastructure has PostgreSQL, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, and an ecosystem of soft-real-time pipelines fueling analytics, public APIs, payments and wallet systems, and machine learning algorithms.

Working with a variety of internal teams, you’ll have the freedom to analyse all aspects of our business in order to help various teams ensure we support our ever-growing user base. Responsibilities
Develop in different technologies and infrastructure, using as base programming languages SQL and PythonWork on cutting-edge data-related software engineering areas like embedded analytics or machine learningIncrease Plentific's users and decision-makers productivity by building innovative products and tools that reduce maintenance overheads and help drive platform adoption
Requirements
Proficient in SQL and Python. We perform a thorough live coding interview.Experience with Git version controlPrevious knowledge of dbt or Looker are a plusYou are an organised person who works well under pressure and with little directionExcellent communication skills with ability to articulate concepts in plain English
