Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a business administration apprentice to support our operational management teams including Human Resources, Marketing and Business Development and Digital Innovation and Technology.  Reporting to the Director of People & Culture you will work closely with the firm’s in-house HR team to carry out aspects of our on-boarding and off-boarding processes, produce reports and undertake general HR administration tasks.  You will also provide support to the Marketing team through booking events and administering and updating databases and researching and ordering IT related purchases as instructed by the Director of Digital Innovation and Technology.   With an eye for detail, you will have excellent communication and people skills and being a team player will ensure you excel in this role. Naturally self-motivated and enthusiastic, this role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who is keen to learn various aspects of administration and business process and gain experience of working in a professional services environment. With a defined vision and three-year growth plan on track, Nelsons has created a culture of working together to achieve so are looking to recruit people who have a can-do attitude to be part of our journey.  Training to be provided: Job-specific training will be provided through working alongside experienced employees;  You will achieve City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for the Business Administrator upon successfully completion of the apprenticeship.Learning towards the End Point AssessmentFunctional skills (Literacy & Numeracy), depending on your prior attainment you may need to be assessed in literacy and numeracy which are an integral part of your professional and vocational legal and business admin qualifications. Your academic and competency training will be through CILEx Law School. CILEx Law School provide effective and accessible training for a wide range of professional and vocational legal and business admin qualifications. The successful candidate will have at least 5 GCSE grades A*-C/9-4 including Maths and English. A minimum of 3 A-levels of C and above (or equivalent qualification) is desirable but not essential.
