Engineering internship opportunities for Summer 2022 include:Process EngineeringDevelops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems may include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.Automation EngineeringCollaborates with departmental and corporate leadership to determine existing automation capabilities and future opportunities, creating detailed project road maps for automation projects that support our business objectives. Facilities EngineeringConducts investigations, evaluations, and applied research directed toward assisting utility system owners, utility system operators, facility managers and facility owners in the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of buildings and energy use (both supply and demand side management) in compliance with codes, laws and regulations; Assists in the specification and selection of process, utility, and facility equipment to support site needs.Other Engineering DisciplinesSupport continuous improvement project pipeline to prioritize projects in relation to cost, benefit, and effort.Support manufacturing during critical process development work for scaling to commercial processWorks with Project Engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installationsPrepares technical reports and recommendations for use by utility and/or facility owners and managers for guidance on solving current problemsOther duties as assignedThe CandidateTo be eligible for an internship at Catalent, you must meet the following requirements:Currently enrolled in an accredited college or universityMust be an undergraduate or graduate student in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering (preferred), chemical engineering or related field of studyEligible to legally work in the United StatesExposure to statistical Process control, reliability Modeling/Predication, fault tree analysis, Six Sigma (6σ) Methodology Root-cause and Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCA, RCFA)Work full-time (40 hours/week) for a 10-12-week period over the summerIndividual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds.Catalent’s standard leadership competencies that are used to interview and for Performance & Development: Leads with Integrity and RespectDelivers ResultsDemonstrates Business AcumenFosters Collaboration and TeamworkChampions ChangeEngages and InspiresCoaches and Develops
