Role Outline
As an Apprentice Engineering Operative, you will be an integral member of the close knit team of highly skilled engineers on the shop floor. This will be a challenging and exciting role and throughout the apprenticeship the role will evolve as you gain more experience and knowledge of the environment.
Primary Responsibilities
• Understand how to obtain the necessary job instructions, engineering drawings and specifications and how to interpret them
• Understand quality, environmental and health and safety compliance procedures
• Understand engineering operational practices
• Undertake all other reasonable tasks which will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.
• Be able to work safely at all times Interaction
• Interacts daily with other engineers and the wider team
• Interaction normally involves exchange/movement of Fluke product however may include fault finding/diagnosis as required.
• Interacts daily with the Engineering Team Leader as required to define priorities and escalate issues as required for the proper performance of the role.
• Interacts as required with other members of the Fluke Management team, however primary management contact will remain with the immediate Team Leader.
