Wickford, Essex, South East, England Office-Based Posted 17.08.21 £16000 - £18000 per annum Do you have previous customer service experience in an office environment or are looking to begin your career? We are seeking applicants who have an excellent telephone manner and understand the importance of customer service and coordination. Duties will include: Liaising with partners, suppliers, hauliers Managing day to day Road Imports Job costing and Invoicing customers / dealing with any invoicing queries (both supplier and customer invoices) Completing all freight documentation Negotiate rates and provide quotations Shipment processing using in-house systems (checking, scanning and filing) Customs entry – full training will be given The person: Excellent customer service – communicating with customers on daily basis Ability to work individually and as part of a team Able to remain focused and self motivated Accuracy and attention to detail Computer literate and confident using emails, MS Word and MS Excel ** Due to company location, own transport is essential The Benefits: Company social events such as BBQ’s 9 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday (some flexibility required depending on business needs) 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays Full training given The opportunity to receive full training on customs CPmaldon
