Description We are looking for an enthusiastic customer service apprentice to join our small, family team. You work alongside the existing customer service team. Responsibilities•Gain working and proficient knowledge of organisations products•Ensure all internal systems are updated and maintained with accurate and up-to-date information•Making outbound calls to customers to resolve any issues or for clarification of information relating to their account/order•Develop rapport both with existing & new customers, both trade and retail customers to identify customer needs quickly, efficiently and proactively to deliver the right solution in the first instance•Deliver excellent customer service to our customers, using appropriate channels and internal systems such as phone, email and web-chat•Assistance with paperwork, document creation and other ad-hoc duties•Coordinating with other departments such as sales colleagues, warehouse despatch and accounts•Ensuring the customer information is kept up to date•Assisting other team members with orders and helping other departments when the need arises•Liaising with couriers on delivery issues and customer complaints•Organising and coordinating collections and deliveries•General administration duties – filing, photocopying and scanning•Serving cash & carry customers in a timely manner and maintain a clean and tidy cash and carry area within the office.
