This large, international, blue chip logistics company requires a Graduate Trainee Purchasing Assistant to join their established, friendly team. This is a great position that will get your foot in the door with an excellent company that will offer full training and genuine career progression.
Key responsibilities include dealing with suppliers sourcing quotes for services, maintaining fixed price agreements, managing key business processes, resolving supplier invoice queries and actioning intercompany transactions.
This role will require you to build strong working relationships with suppliers and colleagues alike. Communication skills, attention to detail and a strong commercial awareness are essential to be successful in this role and you will have a relevant business, supply chain or maritime related degree.
Furthermore you will be committed to a career in purchasing / procurement / buying and keen to progress.
