A purpose-built accommodation that helps people with learning disabilities to live with as much independence and autonomy as possible. Gardens and communal space and good use of local facilities is within this location.Sympathetically designed both inside and out, great care has been taken to ensure that these spaces incorporate the latest care technology, to give residents even more choice and control in how their support is delivered.Learning disabilities Support workers are committed to enabling the people they support to live the lives they want; lives which are fulfilling, meaningful and happy. This could be day to day support including medicine, community help like shopping, activities like cinema or working alongside them in the communal areas. Other areas can involve cooking, assisting living which will include personal care and dealing with challenging behaviour and nonverbal communication.Activities can also include hydro pool, trampoline, horse riding, swimming, bowling, cookery, arts and crafts, in house beauty and music sessions.What is the job of a Trainee Support Worker?A Learing disabilities Support worker is essential to work every day to help all residents live a dignified and meaningful life.
