Trainee Assistant Producer, Theatre503 Closes16th August 2021LocationLondonTypePart time (paid internship) SalaryPaid (£15k-20k pro rata) ArtformContactAndrew Shepherd DescriptionThe Theatre503 Trainee Assistant Producer Scheme is a unique blend of on-the-job training and learning opportunities, as we support you to develop your skills and lay the foundations for a career in theatre production. You will be supporting the development and delivery of our productions and co-productions, from single nights of short pieces to full length runs over 3-4 weeks. You will also play a key role in the implementation of 503’s marketing and fundraising – two key elements of being able to successfully mount and produce your own work in the future – as well as other areas of the day to day running of our venue. There will also be the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of how a venue is run, from programming through to strategic development, and to have a voice in these processes.By the end of your traineeship, you will understand the process of programming a new writing venue. You will have the tools and project management skills required to produce a full-length show and/or festival. You will be able to create an d deliver a full marketing and audience engagement campaign and know how to create a strong case for support and successfully fundraise from a range of sources.The role is a year long placement with us of up to 3 days a week, including a £9,000 training bursary (£750 a month).
