The shows that the university, alongside prestigious institutions such as University of Oxford and London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), is producing a higher percentage of c-suite executives than other UK universities.This latest report comes on the back of a study in 2020 by Hitachi Capital Invoice Finance which ranked University of Cumbria as . In 2020, the university was also ranked as amongst the best in the UK for graduate employment and with 96% of students getting a job or going on to further study within 15 months of graduating. It was also ranked 1st in the UK and top 10 worldwide for the quality of its education in the .This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or current student of the University of Cumbria to gain valuable work experience through an internship with a local company. You will be employed by the University, but work with People First Services to carry out research supporting a new and innovative Independent Travel training programme. The post is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. We are looking for someone who is proactive, logical and self-motivated with the ability to undertake desk-based research and present results. We expect you to have strong research and communication skills and an interest in sustainable and environmentally conscious travel, training and development. The post is part time for a total of up to 140 hours and the overall project is to be completed by September 2021. This is a flexible working opportunity, which can fit around student studies and work/home life commitments.This role will involve remote working with occasional travel to West Cumbria for meetings – COVID-19 restrictions may apply.
