Job Description

Appretice Facilties Services operatve L2 - Stoneyholme Community Primary School About the role An Apprentice Facilities Services Operative L2 is required to join our busy school, to provide facilities services support. The successful candidate will be working within the school team and supporting the school to provide routine facilities services support to the school. Job Purpose The apprentice will work with direction to provide general support to the delivery of the facilities services function in complying with health and safety and other legislation and organizational policies and procedure. They will address facilities related risks, hazards and threats to people, property and premises. Providing customer service to internal and external customers to ensure the effective delivery of a range of facilities services. Skills and Experience The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes: Friendly and approachable, Motivated, Good customer service skills, Attention to detail, Good communication skills, Enthusiasm for the role and drive to succeed, Ability to work well independently as well as in a team. Applicants wishing to apply for this position should ideally have GCSE Maths and English at grade C/ Grade 4 or equivalent although this is not an essential requirement for the role. Other The successful apprentice will be expected to apply themselves to the apprenticeship with commitment and diligence. The apprentice will also be required to commit to the school's values and ethos. There is no guarantee of a role at the end of this apprenticeship, but support will be given. The apprentice could look for opportunities to progress onto a higher apprenticeship, A new DBS certificate will be required for this post. Safeguarding, Prevent and GDPR training will also be required and delivered by the school. Apprenticeship As part of this role the successful candidate will be expected to work towards completing the apprenticeship framework, Facilities Services Operative L2 The successful candidate will also be required to complete functional skills initial assessments in Maths & English and Maths & English functional skills must be completed as part of the apprenticeship, if prior achievement at GCSE C/4 has not previously been achieved.
