Job Title: Trainee Technical Coordinator

Location: St Albans

Crest Nicholson Chiltern are now looking for a Trainee Technical Coordinator who will report to the Senior technical team.

As Trainee Coordinator, your priorities are to coordinate and review:

  • Designs and specifications
  •  Information flow and updates on Viewpoint
  • Planning condition information
  • Design interface between packages
  • Various agreements; Section 278, Highway Permits, Adoption of Works
  • Transfer Plans, Management Plans for Estate Sales Packs, liaising with Solicitors and Sales Department
  • Submission of Building Regulations and warranty applications
  • CDM and H&S requirements
  • Compliance of party wall matters and liaison with neighbours dependant on site operations
  • Applicants must have: 

  • Architectural OR Engineering background
  • Strong commercial experience with planning, architectural and structural design, geotechnical and ground remediation strategies 
  • Degree educated in relevant disciplines, such as Architecture, Design, Planning, Civil Engineering or the Built Environment 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Confident engaging with direct Consultants 
  • Experience in dealing with highly complex technical drawings and plans 
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external partners 
  • Building Regulations and NHBC standards knowledge
  • Strong IT skills
