Job Description

Job Purpose: The post holder will work as part of the Connected Customers Project Team. The Project is fundamental in the Council’s work to further develop its digital offering to citizens and, if successful will represent a significant step forward in that area. The Connected Customers Graduate Intern will be providing support to the project, assisting in the work required to develop the project deliverables and supporting the design build and delivery of solutions that support the defined project outcomesThe Highland Council has had outsourced ICT arrangements for over 20 years and the decision has recently been made to bring the service back in-house. ICT will continue to be critical not only to how the Council currently provides services but also to the transformation of services as the Council is redesigned and made more efficient, this is a fantastic development opportunity to be part of the team at the heart of that.
