The successful candidate will help to contribute to achieving the goals and objectives of this business-critical function and will gain invaluable experience towards their personal development. Additionally, they will benefit from gaining enhanced communication skills and the experience of working within a small efficient team. You can expect to: Ensure effective communications internally and externally from the HR departmentPromote a positive employer brand through managing the BorgWarner micrositeOrganize staff communications such as meet and greetCreate and maintain HR process flows, making sure HR processes are leanAdvise on data protection issues (General Data Protection Regulations)Support the HR Administrator in Payroll and acts as a backup when requiredProvide overall HR and performance support for one area of the businessDeliver HR and benefits inductionTake responsibility for absence management providing regular reports and support managers on absence reviews to ensure absence is managed wellUndertake exit interviewsSupport managers and HR Business Partners in performance conversations including creating development plans and performance improvement plansSupport the HR team on major projects such as the Culture SurveySupport the HR team with general administration and HR support such as arranging interviews, conducting interviews, arranging training etcEnsure accurate data entry into Workday (HRIS) of employee changesTake responsibility for management of the apprenticeship programme, including sourcing, selecting and ongoing performance management of apprentices with support of mentors/managersWhat you can expect in return: CIPD Level 5 apprenticeship qualificationEnhanced holiday package.On site gym and car parking.Quality, onsite subsidised canteen.Access to our flexible benefits scheme.Qualify for our business performance bonus.What you’ll need: Good analytical and numerical skills.Resilience, determination and good communication and leadership skills.Flexibility to meet the changing needs of our business.5 GCSE’s at level 5 and above including Maths and EnglishA level qualified (preferred) Proficiency in MS Office.To live within commuting distance of our Bradford Office.You will also benefit from working with an outstanding team of accomplished professionals across a range of diverse, exciting, and challenging projects.
