Southern Hill Mental Health Hospital, in Mundesley, are opening a brand-new, on-site, Training Academy to provide employees, with no or very little previous experience, the opportunity to train and learn whilst working.
We are looking for passionate, caring and patient trainee Support Workers that share our values in delivering person-centered, high quality, care to those we are fortunate to care for. Joining the Academy will last for approximately 3 months and you’ll be working towards obtaining your Care Certificate, resulting in a full time Support Worker role . This will involve a mixture of working within the Hospital, shadowing experienced members of the Team and, separate, break-away training sessions with our dedicated training Team.
We are looking for: -
- Someone who has a real passion and empathy for caring and supporting people;
- Flexible in their approach to work;
- Ability to work on shift/rota pattern;
- Good written and verbal communication.

About our hospital: -
Southern Hill Hospital now has 44 mental health beds across four wards, with a view to further expand later in the year. The Hospital has a 5 bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and is able to offer a 24-hour acute admission within a safe and secure environment.
