Job Description
We are currently supporting an innovative, family-run SME who are actively seeking an Internal Sales Account Manager to join their team based in Newtown, Wales. This role represents an exciting opportunity for the right forward thinking, hungry and consummate telephone (and occasionally screen based) Sales Professional.
Key duties and responsibilities.....
- Develop positive relationships with clients
- Taking inbound and outbound calls
- Enquiries; quotations and taking orders 20% of the time
- Up-selling and cross selling and winning new business for the Company
- Responsible for the growth of around 200 nominated accounts
- Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Requirements
- Previous Telephone Sales and Sales experience, which demonstrates success in working to and achieving/exceeding agreed realistic targets.
- Proactive; keen to learn; keen to sell and enthusiastic. A great people person!
- Organised; self-disciplined; able to use own initiative.
- Great telephone manner and 'can do’ attitude with tenacity to create business!
- Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential to the success of this role
- IT literate (MS Office).
- Account Management sales experience will be an added advantage.
- In time, ability to deal with special requests; estimating; pricing and negotiation disciplines and competencies will become an increasing part of this role.
Monday - Friday (08:00 - 17:00)
