Overview:

We are looking for a talented Recruiter to join our inhouse recruitment team here in Leeds. The Recruiter will be responsible for delivering a high quality, end to end recruitment service across roles within an aligned business area. You will be recruiting for a variety for roles from junior / entry level up to senior level. You will need to be able to manage a large amount of roles at any one time and work in a fast paced recruitment team.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive inhouse recruitment team based across the UK and Ireland. We offer support, additional training and the opportunity to become a true recruitment partner to our business and stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish trusted relationships and partnerships with the business and developing a sound understanding of the business
  • Work with the hiring manager to conduct full role briefing calls, consult on market trends, agree a recruitment process and timelines and work with the manager to fill the vacancy.
  • Support and coach hiring managers throughout the process in relation to systems, best practice and processes.
  • Develop sourcing strategies, conduct market mapping, build talent pools and a candidate pipeline for current and future recruitment needs 
  • Deliver a first-class experience to all candidates, regardless of application outcome ensuring correct details are provided, recruitment process an appropriate length, a transparent process throughout and a seamless on-boarding
  • Work with the Senior members of the Recruitment Team and provide input into sourcing strategies
  • Share insight and best practice across the team
  • Drive quality of hire, reducing attrition, minimizing cost per hire and agency spend
  • Use metrics and measures to continually improve the success of the recruitment process and practices 
  • Drive collaboration across the recruitment team to ensure consistency and process excellence
  • Contribute to the wider HR agenda by supporting EVP, on-boarding, culture, engagement, retention, branding, initiatives
  • Actively promote inclusion in all areas of recruitment, ensuring considered across all elements of recruitment and selection
  • Develop manager awareness and embed the processes that support unconscious bias, pay equality, flexible working and equal opportunities through ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process
  • Ensure adherence to company process, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Process excellence, data integrity and compliance to policy and legislation (requisition management to ensure data up to date and accurate, zero fail on new hire audit)


Experience & Personal Attributes:
  • Strong recruitment experience in a high-volume environment (30-40 roles)
  • Proven experience working in an in-house or RPO environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop trusted partnerships across all levels of the business
  • Confident in managing stakeholders and influences throughout a recruitment process
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the juggle multiple priorities and deliver to required timescales
  • Demonstrated flexibility and agility to work effectively within a fast paced, complex and changing environment, with an ability to work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail, high quality standards with analytical and problem-solving ability
