Job Description

HR Support Apprenticeship (Level 3)The HR Support Apprentice (Level 3) has been developed to train a learner to be a qualified administrator as part of Ocado Group’s HR Operations team. This role, with the support of a close team and provided training will soon be responsible for onboarding activities for new starters across the business, the administration of key milestones for employees and supporting across a range of Employee Relation processes. Ocado Group is putting the world’s retailers online using the cloud, robotics and AI. We develop the innovative software and hardware systems that power Ocado.com, the world’s largest online-only grocery retailer as well as the global ‘’. With everything from websites to fully autonomous warehouses that we design in-house. Ocado Group’s HR function enables our colleagues all over the world to be able to reach their maximum potential and everyone within our HR function plays a critical role in providing that service. About the ApprenticeshipWhilst working towards this apprenticeship you will develop their core HR knowledge establishing the values by which their organisation operates and how this applies to their role. You will understand the HR systems and processes used and be able to apply these as part of the HR function supporting the implementation of HR changes or projects within the business. (Open in new tab to view)You’ll be required to develop their skills in order to maintain HR records as part of the services delivered and ensure that reports and management information related to HR data are produced. Service delivery will be excellent, providing support, solutions and advice to colleagues, building their own expertise in HR matters.Your Learning and Development and Your RoleDuring this programme you will have a training provider that will offer you a structured academic learning programme alongside the training provided by Ocado Group also. This amounting to achieving an industry recognised qualification as well as gaining a huge amount of CV building experiences, commercial knowledge and soft skills on top. You will have teams of people around the business to support you in achieving this. Your manager will be your main point of contact. They will work with you daily, support you on tasks and help divide your time between study and work-related activities. The Emerging Talent team will look after you from a programme perspective. They will be organising regular Learning & Development sessions, social events and employability workshops. Beyond this, Ocado Group has Mental Health First Aiders, Listening Champions and HR Business Partners that are always on hand to support in any other way. ---EligibilityA minimum of 5 GCSEs in addition to 2 A-Levels or Level 3 equivalent (apprenticeship or BTEC in a relatable subject)---The Ocado Group StoryThe Ocado Group is unique.
