Job Description

Position As a Merchandising Intern, you will be an ambassador of the brand. You will provide analytical and administrative support to assist the Merchandising team in order to assess and monitor product performance for all stores, helping to identify the right assortment of product and related services, to reach maximum sales and service potential. This role calls for a numbers driven individual who enjoys analyzing data and crunching numbers. You will understand retail and have a keen interest in the area. Profile Business Review: Prepare and review regular merchandising reports and analyse sales trendsPerform sales and stock product analysis, competitor price analysis, and other ad hoc analysis as requestedCarry out competition analysis as needed for business reviews and for Head Office in Paris Product Performance & Management: Manage product transfers in the UK network or on a European levelSupport with stock queries, customer requests, network transfers, and finding alternative solutions where necessaryProvide qualitative and quantitative feedback on new launches by liaising with product specialists in the networkCreate and manage selling tools for stores for new product launchesAssist in the preparation, organisation and delivery of new collection product trainings Event Support: Support in the creation and preparation of all necessary merchandising collateral for the eventCoordinate movement of the Merchandising kit and ensure all pieces are accounted forAssist with organisation, styling, and delivery of product for eventsSupport respective teams during events: Client Relationship Management, Visual Merchandising, Press Other Duties: Administrative support for the officeManage the product team scheduleSupport on delivering product information to UK press team as appropriateAd hoc shop floor support (e.g. product caravans, events)Preparation of weekly newsletter/emailing Additional information Excellent level on PowerPoint and ExcelA data driven individual who enjoys analysing numbersVery organised and able to multi task Hard working and dedicatedAbility to adapt to an ever changing work environment, where priorities can change frequentlyHigh level of effective communication skillsAble to work in demanding environment with different levels of profiles
