Job Description

As a Barclays Internal Reporting Technology Lead, you will be responsible for managing the technology delivery across multiple Finance Transformation programmes. You will demonstrate strong technical in-depth development skills working on Oracle technologies and functional expertise on managing Finance transformations. What you'll be doing? • Managing a number of Hyperion Finance systems within Group Finance team ensuring quality and timely delivery of key finance transformation programmes • Being able to engage with 3rd party vendor resources to create and manage a team of highly skilled internal and 3rd party resources required for the successful delivery of the engagement • Supporting the team members within the team to ensure they are delivering the day-to-day stories and functionalities on the agile board • Managing Stakeholders with both the Hyperion Leadership team and the Business Units - ability to setup and manage stakeholder meetings and strong upward reporting to senior management • Applying risk, governance and control management principles • Producing a series of Management Information Reports showing programme progress, risks, issues, mitigations etc. • Looking at continuous improvement opportunities both from a technical/process perspective to ensure efficiency amongst the offshore support capability • Consistently looking at areas of improvement and delegating relevant resources to ensure improvements are being managed / implemented What we're looking for: • A minimum of 3-4 implementation projects using Oracle Financial technologies • In-depth knowledge of database scripting and code scripting • Proven technical background in IT • Ability to assess current build and design and recommend suitable improvements (were necessary) in the use of the Hyperion toolset across finance functions Skills that will help you in the role: • Forward planning with a proactive approach to situations • Ability to multi-task in a high pressure support environment Where will you be working?
