Your new companyHays are delighted to be working alongside a leading insurance broker seeking a Trainee Customer Service Administrator to join and progress within their successful affinities team. Your new role Your new role will see you assist with the customer service and administration duties in a busy affinities department, handling phone and email queries from clients and customers. You will ensure all administration recorded from calls and correspondence are recorded efficiently, all in line with FCA requirements which you will receive full training and support with. You will be enrolled in both internal and external training courses to allow you to fulfil the duties of your role effectively, and ensure your future progression. General administration support required will include changing addresses and names in the company system, managing post, ensuring department money is accounted for, and any other reasonable duties as required by your management. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this role you will have experience working in a customer service environment, mixed with good administration and technical skills. Customer service experience can come from retail, hospitality or similar industry, as long as you are able to reference good IT and administrative skills including strong Microsoft Office usage. You will require a minimum of two A Levels accompanied by GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above. You should have high standards of work and attention to detail, and pride yourself in giving the best of your ability to all tasks you undertake. You should have a willingness to learn and embrace a new and exciting industry, and be driven to progress.
