PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThe Sales Associate is responsible for achieving store and personal sales goals by providing excellent standards of Customer Service at all times and by representing and by supporting the Diesel Brand and valuesResponsibilities
SALES Achieve Store/Personal sales and Key Performance Indicator goals as assigned by the Store Manager by:- Knowledge and understanding of store sales goals- Best individual performance in line with Diesel Customer Service, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising guidelines and standards.
CUSTOMER SERVICE Provide excellent Customer Service at all times, promoting the messages outlined in the Diesel Customer Service book and training programme:- Welcome the customers like guests in our home- Greet them- Approach them in a individual way- Profile them, discover their needs- Propose what they need, facilitating complementary sale and- Create loyalty Apply telephone policy Develop and retain long-term clients and add new customers to the mailing list. Maintain a positive, professional and sales orientated attitude. Maintain thorough understanding of all aspects of company history, customer service, product knowledge and policy and procedures. Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude and collaborative teamwork. Understand and apply the philosophy of the returns policy.
MERCHANDISING Maintain and update product knowledge using all available product information tools. Develop and maintain an thorough understanding of the fashion industry and market trends. Communicate product needs to Department Head/Management. Communicate product quality issues to Department Head/Management as necessary. Replenish products as requested by the Department Head/Store Management or when needed. Be aware of any back stock and product inventory levels.
VISUAL MERCHANDISING Study the Seasonal Visual Merchandising Book provided. Maintain Visual Merchandising criteria and quantities according to Diesel Standard and Guidelines. Make sure that product is accurately coded, tagged and priced. Provide store Management with appropriate feedback.
OPERATIONS Apply all Store Operations Policies and Procedures provided by Head Office. Read and understand all information posted on store communication boards. Perform operational and any other duties as requested by Department Head or Management. Maintain a clean and organised Department at all times to create a comfortable shopping experience. Ensure that all sections are cleaned and dusted every morning. Ensure that back areas are cleaned and well maintained. Attend all store meetings as directed by Management.
LOSS PREVENTION Follow all loss prevention Policies and Procedures and report any concerns to Store Management. Check stock daily to ensure that all products are alarm tagged at all times. Be aware of security in the shop at all times and be vigilant without appearing overly suspicious with customers. Carry out an accurate Stock Take by implementing the Stock Take Procedure. Be safety consciousness at all times.
BRAND PROTECTION Understand Diesel Brand values. Communicate the Brand Values to customers. Support Diesel Brand image by always adhering to Diesel dress code.Qualifications
