Job Description

PGL are bringing adventure back in 2021! We operate outdoor activity centres across the UK and you can join us as we welcome back guests to learn, grow and have fun together.

PGL’s staff are central to our success and you’ll play a huge part in giving our guests the experience of a lifetime – a job more important now than ever.

Working as a PGL Activity Instructor is a unique working experience. We provide a fun, supportive environment that allows both our guests and our staff to have a great time and develop.

As an Activity Instructor, you’ll lead our groups in a number of exciting activity sessions from archery to zip wire and everything in between. You’ll also be on hand to ensure our guests have a fantastic time even when they’re not participating in activities and energy levels are maintained… not an easy task but get it right and it is extremely rewarding.

Our Activity Instructor role is for anyone who enjoys being active in the outdoors, has a passion for sport and can provide effective instruction, leadership, support and encouragement to a group of guests. This is the perfect job if you’re want to work with children in the future, start a career in the outdoors or just have a great experience whilst making new friends and working as a team.

Individually you will be confident, engaging and have experience of working/volunteering with children. This could be working with your local Scout/Guide group, coaching a local sports team or volunteering with various other kid’s clubs or groups.

As for the rest? We will take care of providing you with the training and support you need to be confident and successful in your role. Whilst working with PGL you will be offered many other training opportunities and gain a wide range of transferable skills that will look great on your CV.

Staff Package

We offer a competitive wage, paid monthly, on-site meals and accommodation package provided and free staff uniform.

Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure, which PGL will pay for. You need to possess the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for employment with PGL. PGL is committed to the principles of equality and diversity and welcome applicants from all sectors of the community, including those with disabilities.
