About the RoleWe are currently looking for a talented 3D Artist to join our tightly-knit team.The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for creating fun and exciting animations.You will work alongside our amazing 3D art team to create visually stunning textures and concepts for our upcoming and live games! Working as a 3D Artist you’ll apply imagination and artistic skill to create various areas of art for character design, texture and environment, creating lighting and specific assets such as models etc. The role is an initial three-month internship, with a strong possibility there is an opportunity to get hired on a full-time role in the future depending upon your performance during the internship. Responsibilities within the role include but aren’t limited to: Create high-quality artwork for a game, such as the texture, characters, environment or certain assets.Ensure artwork follows the agreed project style.Work collaboratively with other game artists, as well as members of the wider team, such as designers, developers, animators, quality assurance testers, and those involved in management and marketing.Take on board and implement feedback from the art lead by making appropriate changes to the artwork you’ve produced.Report progress to your manager/lead artist on a regular basis.Work to deadlines to help the team to produce the game efficiently and in line with the required schedule.Keep your skillset up to date and learn about new software as and when required. Skills You’ll need to have: Good communication and teamwork skills, to be able to liaise effectively with other game artists and members of the wider teamSelf-motivation and the ability to work independently for extended periodsThe ability to calmly problem-solve issues that may arise in an environment which can be pressuredStrong organizational and time management skills to enable you to work to deadlines and complete tasks efficientlyExcellent attention to detail to ensure work is completed to a high standard and in line with the desired stylethe knowledge and technical ability to effectively use computer software packages and tools such as Blender 3DS Max, Substance Painter, and PhotoshopA good understanding of games engines, such as Unity or UnrealA desire to keep building your skillset and to learn how to use new software packages as they come onto the marketA knowledge of, and passion for, games and the games industry. Requirements: You need to be based in the Greater London area.Unfortunately, we are not evaluating if you are currently living outside LondonMust have your own laptop which you can use and bring to workThe position is office-based and you should be able to commit to 3 months, working a minimum of 4 days a week Who are we?
