The Firm:
HW Fisher is a top 25 UK chartered accountancy firm. We are a commercially astute organisation with a personal, partner-led service aimed at entrepreneurial small and medium enterprises (SMEs), large corporates and high-net worth individuals.

Founded in 1933, the practice comprises 32 partners and approximately 280 staff supplying a range of services spanning audit, corporate taxation, private client services, VAT and forensic accounting, together with a range of sector groups offering specialist industry knowledge.
The Role
We require AAT Apprentices to join our firm to start in August 2021. We are looking for AAT Apprentices in the following teams:
HW Fisher & Company Ltd
HW Fisher & Company Ltd. is a department within the HW Fisher organisation that has a particular interest in our authors and journalists sector. The department provides a "one-stop shop" for owner managed businesses including personal and corporate tax, accounting, and VAT functions.
The Audit Department
We act as auditors for organisations of every type and size. Our clients are active in all branches of commerce and industry, ranging from substantial corporations to small businesses.
The Charities Department
The Charities Department is a sub-division of the Firm's Audit Department. The Charities group deals primarily with conducting these audits for charitable and not-for-profit organisations.
Should you be invited to attend an interview with us, we will explain the opportunities in each department in further detail. Should you successfully obtain a place on our scheme, you will remain with the department that you are allocated for the duration of the apprenticeship.
The Candidate:
We require school leavers with excellent A Levels (or predicted A-levels) to work within one of the above teams and to assist our managers in the above functions.
The successful candidates will be given training on how to prepare accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and how to deal with other aspects of general accountancy services work (HW Fisher & Company Ltd.) or given training on how to prepare accounts and deal with general accountancy work, as well as the opportunity to be involved in the audit process (the Audit Department and Charities Department). You will also receive training on the accounts production and Corporation Tax return computer programs.
You will be: -

In return you will be offered a 30-month training contract to complete your Level 3 and Level 4 AAT qualification.

Please note that this position is not suitable for those that are studying an alternative qualification or have completed AAT Level 3 or higher.
