What will you be doing?



This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain valuable experience in PR & Communications, working with the in-house team on all press across multiple events, projects and programming priorities. Your primary responsibility is to get involved with all PR tasks and project work across all of our major brands, giving you a huge opportunity to learn and understand how this busy world of PR works.




  • Compilation & distribution of daily press cuttings

  • Ability to skim PR stories and flag coverage and competitor PR activity

  • Liaise with internal teams regarding programming highlights and assets which then need to be drafted into a concise, monthly PR highlights document

  • Updating programming calendar

  • Helping with writing and sending press releases, biographies and media alerts when required

  • Assisting with the departments ongoing travel and accommodation bookings/coordination (for show talent)

  • Supporting and participating in (when appropriate) events and press days covered by the PR team

  • Helping update media and internal contact database

  • Management of filing systems - including press clippings and artwork

  • Updating factsheets and timelines

  • Offering team support: Newspaper/post collection & distribution, magazine filing, binding, etc, stationery orders, booking bikes and cars; drawing up contracts with freelancers

  • Finance – assisting the team with processing expenses, tracker management and raising POs

  • Minute taking

  • Liaising with in house tech department (for all department technology queries)

  • Management of publicity drive, documentation and materials

Skills Required :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective communicator at all levels

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office packages and experienced in social media

  • Organised and good time management – you can juggle different activities, understanding what needs to be prioritised, and will flag if deadlines won’t be met



Future Prospects :

We cannot guarantee there will be a perm role at the end of your apprenticeship however, we regularly have suitable roles which are perfect for an apprentice to progress too.
