What you’ll do
Assisting residents with their physical and emotional needs, you will do whatever it takes to help them get the most out of life. More than just a carer, you will be a true friend who champions their dignity and maximises their independence, and you will have an increasingly important part to play in the development of care plans and the induction of new colleagues.
Who you are
With broad knowledge of caring for the elderly, you will be able to make a significant contribution from your first day. To succeed, you should be capable of prioritising your own workload, maintaining detailed records and using your initiative to the full, and you will be determined to develop your skills with our support.

We provide high quality residential, respite and day care and our team has specialist expertise in caring for older people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.
Echelforde is a very welcoming and comfortable care home, with lots of small, thoughtful touches that make a place feel like home – like having an ice-cream van that calls by in the summer. We operate an 'open door' policy which means that relatives are free to visit whenever they need or wish to.
At the heart of the home is our well-equipped day club. This offers lots of activities for existing residents as well as welcoming in people from the local area. Residents and day guests use our day club for many different activities and there’s always something interesting and fun going on there.
