Job Description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the first point of contact between PatSnap and potential new clients, and the very beginning of our sales cycle. You will be the voice of the company, introducing PatSnap and explaining the business value our products bring to R&D and IP Departments all over the world. In this role, you become a real product and industry expert, using your knowledge to win new business leads.

What you will be doing
  • Using your incredible communication skills to build brand new relationships between PatSnap and potential clients
  • Working closely with an Account Executive, who will mentor and help to develop your sales skills, while you support their activity by creating sales leads and booking their product demonstrations
  • Owning your territory and choosing which companies to call and will have the autonomy to be creative with how you introduce PatSnap to prospects
  • Learning the necessary tools to be able to succeed in the role; what we ask of you is a can-do attitude and an open mind to learning
  • Researching using varied and creative techniques to identify business opportunities (sales leads)

Qualifications

    • Sales or lead generation experience
    • B2B sales experience (preferred, but not essential)
    • You are super organised, and love being in charge of your own time
    • You are money motivated - uncapped commissions means your salary can be what you make it!
    • An interest in technology, and how it is used to drive business forward
    • You love talking to new people, and are a confident communicator
    • You thrive working to (and exceeding) targets
    • You are a problem solver; you like to use your knowledge to help people overcome challenges
    • You are experienced in working in a fast-paced working environment, and enjoy working independently
  • If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
  • You must be able to speak English fluently
  • You must be currently living within a commutable distance of this vacancy
