Apprentice Bid and Proposal Co-ordinator

The Bids and Proposals apprentice will be an integral part of the team and will have the ability to work on multiple tasks and maintain superb communication both written and oral. You will be a key point of contact internally, liaising with several departments.

Assystem currently employs a workforce of around 500 people across the UK. Due to ongoing business growth, Assystem is seeking to recruit a Bid Apprentice to join our proposals team based in our Blackburn Head Office, to primarily support Nuclear Engineering Bid opportunities.
Reporting to the Bid Manager, the job holder will work closely with the sales and proposals team to maintain the Bid Library. Document management is a key aspect of this role, and includes storing documents, ensuring documents are in the correct format, document security and access control. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in Bid Writing, best suited to an individual with confidence, excellent IT skills and the ability to work a part of a team.
Role:
The bid apprentice will be an integral part of the team and will have the ability to work on multiple tasks and maintain superb communication both written and oral. You will be a key point of contact internally, liaising with several departments to look after, manage, write and coordinate internal responses for PQQs, bids and presentations. Copy checking/proof reading others’ work will be required.
Typical duties:
· Creating and updating Proposal CVs
· Printing and distribution of final documents
· Updating the proposals knowledge centre
· General administration as required
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of templates, standard materials and marketing information

Desired qualifications
Grade 6/B+ or above at GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths.
Grade 5/B or above in at least four other subjects.
Future prospects
We are looking for the Apprentice role to transition into a full-time member of staff.
