The EMEA Application Design-In Centre (ADC) provides best-in-class technical support to our customers from design to manufacturing and right through the product life-cycle. The group covers a range of activities in supporting major European customers, helping them design new products using the latest Intel technology and components. The role includes hands on hardware and software support in an Engineering Lab environment covering a wide range of IT systems and services from low level hardware to full production systems. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: - Working on prototype next generation computer platforms - Providing support to the local ADC engineering team in issue replication and debug - Working within a global organisations with tams based in multiple time zones - Gaining a deeper understanding of PC hardware- from desktop to server, along with network architecture. - Providing aid in the support of the Lab environment, including networking, debug tools and infrastructure
Qualifications
Entry Requirements: Ideally two A-levels or equivalent as well as five GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above which include English, Mathematics and either IT or a Science We are looking for candidates with the following skills:Genuine passion for technology and a curiosity to understand how it works, with a hands-on approachKeen interest in computing and electronicsAbility to work as part of a team and under own initiativeFluent in both verbal and written EnglishTeam worker with great interpersonal skillsGood organizer with the ability to prioritizeIndividual drive to succeedAbility to communicate and collaborate at all levelsA natural curiosity to understand how things work and have an interest in technology.
