Job Description

Are you a recent Graduate or in the process of completing your degree and wishing to embark upon a secondary teacher training programme in the future? Could you benefit from gaining invaluable experience within a classroom setting?

If so, Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with Essex secondary schools to offer a “Future Teachers programme” to graduates interested in a paid internship, for a fantastic insight into the world of teaching.

  • Graduate Teacher Internship.
  • Graduates with all levels of experience are welcome to apply.
  • Supporting across KS3/4 within your specialist subject area.
  • Earn up to £350 per week

What is the Future Teacher Programme?

The Future Teachers Programme is designed to help address the teacher shortages across England & Wales by attracting bright graduates who are considering a career in teaching but wish to gain practical experience before enrolling in initial teacher training (ITT).

Schools taking part in the programme have the opportunity to enrol graduates onto their own Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme or help signpost them to a partner ITT provision. In doing so, they can secure a highly motivated graduate who will become a future member of the teaching team.
