Job Description
An excellent opportunity has become available working alongside the accounts team within The Mercian Trust. You will be supported through your Assistant Accountant AAT apprenticeship by an experienced team of individuals.
Main Responsibilities
- General office administration
- Processing of invoices
- Processing of orders
- Recording banking receipts
- Facilitation of petty cash records
- Reconciliation of petty cash accounts
- Developmental role to be a fundamental part of the team at The Mercian Trust with additional exposure to accounting areas as the training develops
Personal Qualities :
- Happy to integrate within a team and work cohesively
- Enthusiastic, passionate, self-motivated and with a positive attitude
- Flexible approach to work load and the ability to prioritise
Skills Required :
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Friendly and approachable with a good telephone manner
