About Note Taking Express Limited:
Note Taking Express are proud to be supporting Women in Tech this October in celebration of Ada Lovelace Day on the 13th of the month. In partnership with Workfinder we’re honouring Ada Lovelace, one of computer science’s true pioneers, by offering work placements designed to help more young women discover meaningful careers in tech. We are a team of neurodiverse individuals, many of which have experienced the systems of academic accommodation in our own lives. We believe that students should have a choice in how to engage with their learning, and that the idea of accommodation should be deconstructed and replaced with an education system which is truly flexible and adaptable for all. We are creating digital note-taking tools to make education accessible for all. A student who is Deaf shouldn't have to choose between staying focused on lip reading or looking down at a notebook. A student who thinks best in pictures and drawings should be able to sketch during a lecture, and still have access to detailed notes for review.
About Workfinder work placements -
At Workfinder we're on a mission to give all young people the best possible start to their working lives. We partner exciting startups and growing businesses to create unique short work placements through which companies get real work projects completed, whilst young people get real experience and chance to apply their studies and skills. Working from one of the project plans developed by our in-house team of ex-teachers, we'll provide you with a clear structure for your project, with daily goals, check-ins and helpful tips to help you get the most from your time with the businesses. Forget making tea and doing the filing, it's time for work experience that really works.
