Job Description
The core requirements will revolve around order fulfilment and customer service and uploading products to platforms.
The early stages of a business are often the busiest and most exciting and this stage provides an excellent opportunity for someone willing to grow and learn.
You will work directly with the founder on a wide variety of administrative tasks, including:
- Order Fulfilment and Customer Services, complaints and praise
- Using email
- Maintaining office stationery and equipment
- Market research using desktop searches online
- Assisting with writing a business plan
- Using software specific to the business and business forecasting
- Checking the quality of products
- Researching and booking exhibitions, meetings, and trade show attendances
- Financial record keeping, such as income and expenditure
- Publishing content on Pinterest, Instagram
- Inventory control, stock-taking, and reordering stock
- Note-taking
- Filing documentation within an organised system
- Compliance with legislation relevant to the business, especially data protection
You will learn about all aspects of running a business, from coordinating marketing and PR, to importing and ensuring stationary supplies are in stock. If meetings are taking place, you will be welcome to join them.
