Cover Supervisor - Wirral

Looking to start a PGCE in September 2022? Gain classroom based experience as a Cover supervisor

Your new company
You will be working with a wide variety of Wirral based secondary schools that are in need of cover supervisor support throughout the school year. All of which have deep routed cultural values and are dedicated to providing their students with the best educational experience. This is a great opportunity for any people who are looking to start a PGCE in September 2022 as you will gain invaluable classroom based experience. Teaching assistant, unqualified teachers, undergraduate students are welcome to apply providing you can provide 2 previous referees.

Your new role
You will be required to oversee a range of key stage 3, 4 and 5 work that has been set by the class teacher, as well as being able to interact and effectively manage the behaviour of secondary school students. Being able to assist students in basic questioning regarding work set by class teacher and feeding back on any issues regarding behaviour, or recurring problems that may have arisen during the lesson. This is an exciting and rewarding role, and is particular useful to candidates who are seeking experience before applying for their PGCE.

What you will need to succeed
To succeed in your new opportunity you must be confident supporting, and assisting in the development of secondary school students. Have a proven track record of managing or leading that can be transferred into a classroom environment, as well as experience in being part of a team. Be comfortable in documenting and discussing relevant feedback. Flexibility is also key to this role, and must be comfortable working throughout the general Cheshire area.
