Job Description
- Maintain excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene
- Ensure compliance to procedures, specifications and recipes
- Follow, complete and maintain production schedules, legislative and quality standard documentation, i.e. batch sheets, quality control paperwork
- Use specialist kitchen equipment
- Be involved in NPD projects
- Assist in Production/NPD trials
- Food production technology (cooking equipment, stock control systems)
- Weekly Stock counts for the production/kitchen area
- Run daily production plan and understand impact of stock control/counts make on the business
- Batch up ingredients ahead of production
- Produce food following our recipes & batch sheets
- Cook batches daily as per the production plan. Schedule order of batches to be cooked as appropriate following current SOP’s, making recommendations as & when necessary
